Multiplying Disciples in India

The Lord has a heart for the nations! He longs to see the gospel brought to every tribe, tongue and people. We can see this evident in the mighty ways He is using His people to accomplish the Great Commission. One of our leaders in India recently sent us a ministry report. In the report, he speaks about the work that God has been doing in his region of India in August. Take a look:

Here are some Reports from our mission work in August:

1. God helped us to start the second batch of our missionary training in Dharmapuri, where ten leaders were transformed by the Holy Spirit. All ten leaders committed to go on mission to the unreached villages around Dharmapuri and Vathalmalai (an unreached mountainous area).

2. Our Disciples from Singadivakkam Redemptive Community launched another movement in Kuruvimalai Village.

3. God allowed me to preach the Gospel and share my testimony with nearly 200 youths on the day our Indian Independence Day (August 15th) in Kadagathur Village.

4. The Holy Spirit inspired us to gather some of our redemptive communities in one place as one body of Christ so that we could exalt God and edify one another. Thus, August 25th (which was a day of Hindu idolatry celebration for their elephant god), we gathered nearly 150 people (disciples & leaders) at Mambakkam in Chennai and worshiped God by submitting our lives for the mission of the Great Commission.

5. Yesterday (August 26th) we had our Apostolic Leaders Fellowship Day at Neyyoor in Kanyakumari for equipping, praying, and planning to reaching more unreached villages and discipling our disciples into Christlikeness. God has been blessing us everyday with new opportunities to share the Gospel of the Kingdom of God.

6. I preached the Gospel at a baby dedication ceremony in at Ashok Pillar in Chennai.

7. I preached the Gospel at a funeral at Paganathi Village in Ramnad District.

8. My family moved to a new, rented house in Samathuvapuram-Enathur in Kanchipuram District on the side of Bangalore-Chennai Highway. Every Friday we are having our redemptive community time in my home.

9. Yesterday I received a message from one of our international trainees via whatsapp. He stated that 11 new disciples (three people from the Narmada area and eight people from the Dahod area) were made this month through a mission team in Gujarat.

God is amazing and He is blessing us to glorify Him by multiplying disciples!

Prayer Requests:

  • Pray for my visit to Malaysia from August 30th to September 4th. I will be going for a vision casting training and to prepare for future equipping trainings in Kuala Lumpur.
  • Pray for our monthly Missionary Training in Dharmapuri, which is the least reached district of Tamil Nadu.
  • Pray for our mission trip to Nepal, Sri Lanka and Burma in November and December.
  • Pray for our new disciples and movements in Kuruvimalai and Thengumarada. Pray that they will follow the Holy Spirit to multiply disciples.
  • Pray for our mission leader, who is working among the Badaga people. He is facing some opposition and hindrances right now. He rented a house by paying in advance. The owner of the house cheated him, and now he doesn’t have a place to stay in the mission field. Let’s pray for his provision.

Thank you very much for all your supplications and support!
